Model
of Universal Principles (MUP)As the research and observed responses from the application of the Model of Universal Principles continued, the amazing story of how we actually function became clearer and clearer.
This module is an introduction to the need for contextual references as a necessary part of how we function, recuperate and achieve success in life.
Kinesiology is based on the philosophy that a person is already perfect for what they are to achieve in their lives. The challenge then is to find those things that are stopping the person from expressing that perfection.
So the statement “what do I need to learn?” is replaced with “what do I already know that I need to unlearn?” What we have learned equates with our ‘conditioning and how that conditioning is determining how we do life.
The communication between the three sides is done via the Meridian system. This forms a connection with all the other sides. When the priority area of influence is dealt with correctly all the other components will change in an attempt to become more in balance.
Increasing the integration of these different components increases the Quality of Spirit of the person. If the choice a person makes in life evokes subconscious reactions that are in opposition to that person, then the quality of spirit will decrease.
If the person is able to implement the things needed to keep the three sides working together, the Quality of Spirit will continue to improve and grow.
The energy available for the three edges on each side is mutually dependent. If one edge becomes deficient or excessive it has an effect on both the other sides. Therefore anything that helps to balance one edge of the triad on the Model of Universal Principles (MUP) will have an effect on the other two edges.
In looking more closely at the model as it relates to a person's imbalances, any Physical imbalance for example, such as toxicity, allergies, accidents or other physical insults, will be reflected as an imbalance on the MUP on the physical side.
Because of this imbalance however, symptoms may be expressed through the mental and emotional components as they now have more energy and therefore the only way the Physical imbalances can be expressed. This is also true for emotional or mental problems.
If you, as the facilitator, balanced the emotional and or physical symptoms, you would in fact be denying the person of their recuperation in the correct context. This leads to suppression of the real issue. This is also true for any true Emotional imbalances that lead to expressing mental and physical symptoms.
Any meridian deficiency will break down the communication between all three sides, leading to any number of symptoms. It is clear in following this model how important it is not to assume that an emotional symptom is necessarily an emotional problem. This is true for any mental or physical symptoms the person may be showing.
The most destructive problems are those which attack the highest number of these components. These types of imbalances require BNOs that may relate to each of the components of the triad to be truly effective in re-balancing the problem. In many Kinesiology techniques it is assumed that anything that changes a symptom is a positive and appropriate effect for the person.
This is not necessarily true because the BNOs used may not be in the appropriate context for that problem. The result is that the person is trained to compensate for their imbalances rather than trained to eradicate the imbalance in its original context, thereby curing them of the problem.
By using the Model of Universal Principles to establish the appropriate context you will be directing the person to their first step of recuperating themselves. So the priority area to identify with any problem or disturbance will be either the Meridian System, the Physical, Mental, or Emotional contexts before any BNOs are made. This guarantees that the BNOs are done in the appropriate context.
